We barely beat a terrible A&M team and that vindicates a coach that has trending into the the mediocre gutter?

I don't get it. What the duck just happened. We sent him off into the sunset like he deserved. I love les but it's clear we need a change

Do people not realize we should have won by 30 tonight? I feel like I'm taking crazy pills.

i doubt it had anything to do with tonights game. seems like the Jimbo deal fell through and there was no one else we wanted to pay $20M for...

i would have tried for Chip Kelly, but other than that, i guess i understand.

it will take another 7-5 season to get him fired.

1) recruits will not have that much faith he will be here past a year or two, that won't help.

2) his offensive philosophy WILL NOT change, ever

3) we had a chance to get our pick of Kelly, Herman, Fisher. I don't know what happened but the chance to make a move was now.

We completely screwed the pooch and its not looking good next year I'm afraid.

This is LSU.
We lucked up with Saban. We settled for Miles. Now everyone loves CLM because we beat a terrible team.

Prepare for another disappointing year. we have talent, just no direction.

LSU AD (and many fans) had this fantasy concocted that a coach that has his team on a playoff trajectory every year in the ACC is going to leave that for LSU, out of the goodness of his heart. Never made any football sense for Jimbo to come here.

Alleva and the whole lot of them are gutless. The only way you do this is cut ties with Les and take the chance that your next hire is either a diamond in the rough or a trainwreck. They don't want to take any risk. To use an analogy, they don't want to get divorced until they have the next marriage lined up.

IMO I still hope Les works out here and will be cheering for him to do so. I'm less convinced than I've ever been that he will make notable strides with this team but I'll be hoping for it nonetheless.

As long as we beat aTm miles can do what he wants.

Seems the AD screwed this up royally. He didn't have his guy and the search leaked through the media. Either LSU was told "No" or they tried to pinch pennies in offering Jimbo.

It's going to put so much pressure on next season and we'll be negatively recruited against big time for "coaching uncertainty". Hopefully, we can salvage this 2016 class with nobody else decomitting and finishing strong. Next year's recruiting (2017 class) is going to be handicapped.

ETA - Alleva needs to go because of all of this. He doesn't need to be in charge of the hire when it's actually time for Miles to go.

opposing coaches have so much ammo to use against us now on the recruiting trail. don't even get me started on what bonehead assistant coaches we are gonna have to settle for now.
