What kind of fit would he be? He could pull a lot of Louisiana kids there.

I think he would be a good fit. ND is suited for a run-first coach with a focus on a strong defense. That is right up Miles' alley.

He would get them back to 9-10 win years in short order with an occasional 11 win season.

Question we need to ask:

Would Les at Notra Dame hurt Alabama?

I think his recruiting would not take kids away from LSU, but might have an impact on Saban taking recruits away.

It's really cute that y'all think Miles is going to start poaching Louisiana recruits

We actually go against Bama a fair bit as it is - probably more than most people realize. They've expanded their footprint a lot under Saban, and we are clashing more often (kind of like UF under Meyer).

Just off the top of my head, Blake Barnett, Minkah Fitzpatrick, Brock Wright, Jaylon Smith, DaShawn Hand (thought he was probably more Michigan-lean than ND-lean) and others.

I don't think Les would make much of a difference there, though.

I don't think he would go but Saban is a devout Catholic. It could make for some interesting speculation.
