Funny, but useless. When the stadium floor was lowered to increase the sightlines for the lower rows, grass, although tried, is not practical. UM stadium has an underground spring that runs underneath it. The floor is now too close (remember all the clumps of sod flying up during the mid-late 90's and the constant slipping even on sunny days) to the surface. We had the best, even got top guys from rival MSU which is a big Ag School still, and they couldn't make it work either. So it is all artificial from here on out.

Ok than plane you are seeing is not UM's, but owned by a private individual. Still not difinitive, but less threatening.
I wouldn't necessarily say it's "less threatening."
I'm sure there are plenty big Michigan boosters who own Lears who would chauffeur Brandon and/or his staff to BTR.
I just don't think they'd do it in a marked jet.
They'd take a commercial flight, probably under an assumed name.

Plane is owned by:
Rich Rogel was the founder and CEO of Preferred Provider Organization of Michigan (PPOM). Before entering the medical management field, Mr. Rogel worked as a management consultant for Arthur Young & Co. and as a corporate finance associate in for Burnham & Co. For eight years, he owned and administered a multi-specialty medical center. In 1982, he founded PPOM, the first operational PPO in Michigan. This plan offered its services to more than 1,100,000 employees and dependents in Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana. PPOM won awards as Michigan's fastest growing private company and placed as high as 40th in the INC. Magazine 500.
Currently, Mr. Rogel invests independently and has been the angel investor for CoolSavings, Geneworks, Inergi LLC, and several other companies. He was also formerly the President of Tomay Inc and served as the chairman of Mobile Path Services, Inc. He is Past President of the University of Michigan Alumni Association, Chair of Michigan's capital campaign, and on University President Coleman's Advisory Board. He resides in Colorado where he helped found The Youth Foundation, serving on the Executive Committee and chairing the Education Committee. He also has positions on the Board of Trustees for the Progressive Policy Institute.
Mr. Rogel graduated as valedictorian from the University of Michigan Business School

"Read the article. He regularly lets UM people use it."
Every indication is Brandon is here in AA today. Supposed to be talking with the search firm, not travelling.

Michigan's plane in the youtube video is identical to that of the one in the first page of this thread FWIW
at least it looks like it to me

But still, why would that plane have gone out of its way to be in Baton Rouge?

Because it is the same plane. Same tail number.

someone either got off the plane and checked in to a hotel as mention or...
there are several planes daily from BR to DFW and back again. might have hopped one there.

There are businesses in BR, its not all about LSU. That being said, it's a very strange coincidence at least but seems a bit overt to me given we haven't finished the season.

I dont think he is saying they arent the same plane. He is saying that plane just doesnt belong to the University of Michigan. That pic in the first post isnt from BTR airport this morning or anything.

How about Dallas Executive Airport? That looks like a field for private jets.

but it is the same plane. look at the tail number. the one in the video, the picture and the one in br this morning all had the same tail number.

With the strange track on this flight, is it possible either
A) Michigan rents it out when not in use
Or
B) Owned by some booster/fan with no connection to the coaching search

I think he is saying that that plane is owned by a booster and not officially by the university. The one in the youtube pic is the same one that is here.
