No ties to the South, doesn’t recruit well and isn’t defensive minded.

Bama should hire him

Sounds like Brian Kelly right? And here we are. He’s 104-12, that record is a fit anywhere.

Yea. He just wins. Apparently that's not good enough.

I like DeBoer and think he should stay where he is at, or strangely enough, go to the NFL, where I think he could do some things.

I don't see Bama being a fit for him at all. But you never know.

Could you imagine if they hired Shula?

So basically it's Deboer or Norvell.

Sark’s rise in the odds is interesting. Makes me think he’s getting more attention behind closed doors than what’s being talked about publicly.

I think DeBoer stays at UW where he can kick arse in the Big 10. This probably gets him a pay raise and he won’t have to deal with Bammer fans and the SEC gauntlet.

Dabo will end up in Bama unless Sark has a few cocktails and decides to give it a shot.

I wouldn’t automatically assume Washington will kick arse in the Big Ten. Not saying they won’t, but there is quite a bit of unknown there.

While everyone keeps saying it’s a trap to follow Saban, that’s not totally true. They’ve got more talent on their team than Washington for sure. You’ll probably see a lot of reactionary articles after someone is hired saying “don’t panic if he loses 2-3 games” to temper expectations. With the 12 team playoff Bama is a virtual lock even with the 3 losses.

Seahawks are also high on deboer. Could be a golden opp for him with the NFL.

The question is if DeBoer is able to keep the roster intact. The vultures are circling Tuscaloosa right now.

I, for one, believe that one true best scenario for Bama is to hire none other than Ed Orgeron. He’s got tons of ties to the South and they’ve had good fortune hiring prior LSU HCs before.

We Tiger fans may never get over this, but it’s what’s best for business.
