Would welcome with open arms. Don't care about him personally. Want offense and QB development.

This is one of the most un-Saban thing I have ever heard. Literally. I'm not saying he wont tell Lane to hit the bricks, but not for this reason.

This...a thousand times this. Saban doesn't need to cater to a qb...ever.

Something else to remember is the Coach O factor....Kiffin and him are very close and love to coach together obviously. I would not be shocked if O was in both of their ears (Miles and Kiffin) the part that makes me the saddest....Miles will probably never go for it.

As much as I dislike Kiffin, I have to admire his offensive acumen. When he calls a home run ball, he'll throw his hands into the air within the receiver's first 10 yards from scrimmage. That tells me that he knows what the D is doing, has confidence that the QB and WR are seeing the same and that the read is very simple.

So Kiffin wants another year at Bama but Saban wants his young QB to have the same OC while at alabama and the kid has 4 years left. If Saban hires another OC for the QB and lets Kiffin go Miles is an idiot if he doesn't pay him whatever he wants to take over that offense.

Sorry, I don't see Saban losing his longtime DC and letting his OC go at same time and gets into major staff rebuilding in the process...

bring in that "a-hole" for unofficial/on the downlow HCIW. im up for almost anything at this point. people say certain coaches are "assholes". the nice guys just lost their jobs and one has his clock ticking. im not gonna go their kids' barmitzvahs, family weddings, christenings, ugly sweater parties or crappie fish with them. i want a winner that competes for titles and does it "the right way". kiffin with O as DC.

Sean Payton, as OC of the Tigers, would be a failure if the HC doesn't let him run the plays that he wants.

I wasn't aware Saban was getting rid of Kiffin

fwiw scoop is being fricking stupid, however yes if saban went full scoop then we would be incredibly stupid to not get Lane. he runs circles around camtard

I actually like the idea. Would inject some much needed energy on the sideline. That alone would be a benefit.
