So Kiffin wants another year at Bama but Saban wants his young QB to have the same OC while at alabama and the kid has 4 years left. If Saban hires another OC for the QB and lets Kiffin go Miles is an idiot if he doesn't pay him whatever he wants to take over that offense. Kiffin would turn that offense around next year with Harris. Harris has two years almost with an entire year this year. Kiffin would probably make him the best QB i the conference by the time football season started.

I must have missed something - why on earth would Saban get rid of the best OC he's had at Bama?

Because he has a freshmen QB and wants the kid to have the same OC for his time at BAMA. Saban has someone else in mind for OC. Kiffin supposedly just asked Saban to stay one more year. He is focused on his QB not Lane Kiffin.

This is one of the most un-Saban thing I have ever heard. Literally.

I'm not saying he wont tell Lane to hit the bricks, but not for this reason.

In fairness, Crowton has always stunk.

That's the dumbest shite I have ever heard in my life. Blake will have a very good chance of starting next season. That'd be 2 years of Kiffin after 2016. So Saban wants Blake to compete for the starting spot next year with a new OC? 2 in his 2 years? Who's to say the new OC stays until Blake leaves? Where in the world did you hear this?

Perhaps but who really knows. Saban does things his way. He's had two 1-and-done QBs and Kiffin was probably the best guy for the job. Maybe Saban wants greater stability at OC.

If I was an OC, QB, TE or WR I would not even consider LSU until Miles was gone. He is the worst "offensive mind"" in the country involving the forward pass.

If, and I know this is all a huge if, Im Kiffin and I just got shoved out, LSU is where I'd go straight away if Les would take me, cause revamping the offense of Bama's biggest potential roadblock to the West (in terms of talent) that he could have previously counted on to have a stagnant O would be the biggest "Frick You" ever to Saban.

Not saying I even want him here, but it'd be funny as all hell.

Edit: It would also be a killer accomplishment to have on a resume.
