if this guy is a quality OC, why is his buddy Les the only guy that gives him interviews over the past 2 years? There are many many OC openings and the best he can do is become WR coach at Texas A&M. I wonder why that is.

agreed. Then I'd start screaming Malveto.

Anyone different is not Crowton and the only way to go is up.

It was undisclosed. I'm guessing it was something serious though.

But how dare he take off from work for his family. Tssk, tssk, tssk.

If he's a great coach, then he's a great coach. If he came to LSU and had to take off again for his wife, I wouldn't be mad either. It's his family and some put that as a higher priority than football.

Stil not understanding why he is a good coach? He did ok at Tulsa and absolutely destroyed Louisville's football program.

Me too!

3 years ago, this would be considered a home run hire.

Did he suddenly forget how to coach?

Petrino did that.

Kragthorpe had to clean house and basically start from scratch.

In 07, he took a Louisville team that just played in the Orange bowl, returned a senior qb, and #10 preseason ranking and finished 6-6. His motivational tactics also don't seem to work. Hopefully he leaves his baseball bat and mouse traps at home this time.

Was that as a head coach or OC?
