I’ve posted this in other threads, but I know for certain that Woodward and jimbo have remained very tight through the years. It was said that after lsu shite the bed don’t be suprised if Woodward backs up the truck for jimbo

The last time a football coach left A&M on his own to go somewhere else was 1957 (Bear Bryant).

The last two A&M basketball coaches left A&M on their own to go somewhere else in 2007 (Gillispie) and Turgeon (2011).

No A&M Athletic Director has ever left to go somewhere else. They've all been either fired or forced to retire.

If Woodward leaves for LSU, it will be after he leaves A&M in better shape than Hyman left for him.

Awesome. I hope he goes to texas am, so LSU can beat the hell out of him for a few years until he's fired too. Jimbo isn't a great coach and this season proved it. FSU couldn't even get frickin bowl eligible with the talent they have on their roster. Francois getting injured is no excuse for not even winning 6 damn games in the acc at FSU. That's just a joke and a horrible job of coaching. Hell, the only reason he ever won a national title as a head coach was because of Jameis winston. I don't care who the head coach was of that team, they were winning the title because of winston...not because jimbo fisher was their head coach. Gus malzahn really outcoached jimbo in the championship game, but came up a play short in the end.

Well that would hopefully be the case as wouldn’t that be part of the qualifications to take another job?

we are going to give him everything he wanted from LSU

we will give him 10 years (which im not super into but whatever. its what you got to do), unlimited budget for assistants, unlimited budget for recruiting, and an unlimited budget for facility upgrades

I'm not an Aggie fan, but I don't see the problem with any of this.

Gives the employee a since of security and being wanted.

Also shows asst coaches the University is for real.

Shows recruits, fans, boosters the same.

Having to pay Sumlin and his shite staff buyouts, OK fine for Aggie, but they certainly don't want it to happen again in 4 years with some shite coach again.

Man yall are fricking stupid if you sign jimbo fisher to a 10 year contract for that amount of money and that huge buyout that will come with it. Jimbo is no world beater like you think he is, he's not worth that. As far as the facility upgrades, coaching salaries, and recruiting budget is concerned, you're wrong about that. LSU pays it's coaches extremely well and our recruiting budget is basically unlimited. Our facilities are constantly being upgraded and new facilities are in the works for football too. LSU will always keep up in the arms race for facilities, lol. You're talking about a bigtime traditional power program, something texas am isnt and never has been. Youre acting like you can buy a championship program by simply throwing stupid, unnecessary and unwaranted money around and that's not the case at all...just ask oregon about that. Geaux tigers.

What's so amazing? I remember not too long ago when yall claimed building a new stadium for a shite ton of money, new football complex for shite ton of money, and hiring john chavis was going to bring your program to new heights, and what did all of that get you? Nothing. You're texas am dude. At the end of the day, you're second fiddle in your own state, maybe even 3rd behind tcu now, and you're like the 4th best program in you're division. You're texas am, lol. frickin aggies.
