Are you happy or unhappy if he does leave? IYO who does FSU target if LSU hires Jimbo?

I really don't have any feeling about it right now. After 7 years I could see things getting stale on both sides. Jimbo does need to change his offensive approach.

I don't know where to start on who they would target. It's a top 10 job, so they should have a good pool of coaches. I've always liked Mullen. He's done a great job at a program like Miss. St.

Jimbo is basically a less classy Les Miles.

I'd prefer Mullen to Jimbo as well. Mullen is in as barren of a recruiting area in the West as you can get, and he has to split it with Ole Miss. And Ole Miss is the Alabama of Mississippi. Mississippi State is the Auburn.

He's a great play caller offensively. Just doesn't have much to work with. His defenses have been solid. He's found some good coordinators who jump ship quickly. Manny Diaz and Geoff Collins come to mind.

The rest of the game we'd look like a high school team.

I hated his play calling sans Rohan's year. I'm not sure it's changed drastically at FSU.

Everyone makes mistakes on playcalls but you obviously do not know much about X's and O's or you never knew what you were watching.

so you didn't like the fact we were a play away from winning the west in 2002 with our worst QB in ages in marcus randall?

You did not like the record breaking offense in 2003? The strong Finish in 2006?

You hated winning the west in 05 also didn't you?

His development of at least 8 QB's who played pro? 4 first rounders?

The 9-6 Auburn game anyone? Guy is total garbage as a play caller.

We almost won the West that year not because the offense. The West was horrible that year.

Record breaking offense in 03? Really? Our defense carried us to the BCS title game. Remember the Ole Miss/Eli Manning game? I remember a garbage offense that day that almost cost us.

And I don't care how many QBs he's put in the league. If he sucks at calling plays with them, what does it matter?

I'm not sure why they fired Les of Jimbo is the decision. He's been there 7 years. He's won 1 national title. He's been to one playoff.

Les won a title. Les went to another one. Les played in a much harder conference as well.

I get Herman. He has Houston in the Top 5.

Jimbo has almost the same resume as Les at a school that is not significantly inferior in terms of facilities, recruiting base, etc.

Florida state is top 22 in both scoring and total offense. With a freshman QB

I hope he gets the chance at a top program.

Yeah, he's about to become Miles II and to go out like Miles I in 3-4 years.

I agree. Please get Herman and not Jimbo!

Is it just me or why do I feel with the fiasco that took place at the end of last year coupled with the record of 7-5 over his past 12 games that this deal with Jimbo is already done. Possibly now its just a matter of dotting the I's and crossing the T's to get everything lined up. Perhaps the COACHING STAFF behind him.

I hope its not done!

If Jimbo comes to LSU, this program will be continue to be stuck in the "stone ages" with its pro-style offense.

I have pretty much conceded at this point and have accepted that Jimbo will be our next coach

How could Jimbo be better than Coach O? Dumbo Jimbo has already lost two games with his own team. #NoGeauxForJimbeaux

Good.God.

Chicken, can we shut the CC board down for a bit? This place needs a reboot.

Y'all do realize that Florida State is not losing because of their offense, right?

Jimbo promoted Kelly... that's on him. Jimbo's decisions to kick this past weekend didn't help. He also needs to stop bitching and being above running rpo's.

I'm really liking Orgeron. He's running things like Pete Carroll's USC teams, and those teams were legit. Competition Tuesday was a USC thing I believe under Carroll.

I just want to see how the season plays out before deciding. The next few weeks should tell us if you're Einstein or Forest Gump.
