Jimbeaux to Geaux?

Is it just me or why do I feel with the fiasco that took place at the end of last year coupled with the record of 7-5 over his past 12 games that this deal with Jimbo is already done. Possibly now its just a matter of dotting the I's and crossing the T's to get everything lined up. Perhaps the COACHING STAFF behind him.
I understand I could be way off, but something tells me if they offered Jimbo a deal towards the end of the season last year, what makes you think that the offer was still intact this year but just told him to wait and see how this year started off.
If is indeed true, all I can say is the media and everyone who have watched LSU through the past decade has really 1 thing to say about the faults at LSU and that's been QB play. Well....... you get a guy like Jimbo in here and hopefully keep most of your staff, it could be scary good in Tigerland.

Yeah, he's about to become Miles II and to go out like Miles I in 3-4 years.

So you really think there is a comparison to Miles and Jimbo?

Go watch LSU post Rohan. He used to piss me off badly. We'd run the 2 minute offense with Jamarcus and look like the Green Bay Packers. The rest of the game we'd look like a high school team.
I hated his play calling sans Rohan's year. I'm not sure it's changed drastically at FSU.
Great recruiter. Horrid coach in my opinion. What exactly differentiates him from Miles? Both have one a NC. Miles went to another one. Jimbo went to the playoffs.
I'm really liking Orgeron. He's running things like Pete Carroll's USC teams, and those teams were legit. Competition Tuesday was a USC thing I believe under Carroll.

With who? Jamarcus? Who was the head coach and why did Jimbo run out of town?

so much stupidity in this post

Orgeron runs the same practice schedule that USC runs so that makes him the man for the job???
Look I love what O is doing right now, he's a great motivator but he has to show more than that to win the job. He needs to show he can gameplan against tougher competition and make better in game decisions. His decision to go for it on 4th and 2 from the 15 yard line was rough.
That's where Jimbo and Herman have an edge over him right now. Everything I've seen from Jimbo at FSU leads me to believe he knows how to run a program, develop a game plan based on his opponents, and make good on game decisions.
If we are making the hire today then give me Herman or Jimbo. If O can show throughout this season that he can handle all the aspects of being a head coach then I'm all for it. But we need more than a rah-rah guy that hands everything off to his assistants.

The way he was blinking in the presser Monday said it all. He gone

I have no idea if Jimbo is the man or not. My guess is it's either him or Herman. I would put the odds at about 50% it's Herman, 45% it's Jimbo and 5% it is someone else.
But, I would put the odds at 98% that a deal had been struck with someone before the firing of Miles was announced.
All that is left is hammering out a few minor details and deciding on the timing of when it will be announced.

Regarding a comparison between the two, Jimbo plays weaker opponents. While I would expect some offensive improvement, I wouldn't expect the overall winning percentage to change.

No. Just no. I don't even know where to begin.

Jimbo has friends at LSU who want to make up for not hiring him when Saban left. He also checked out long before the end of 2015, he just isn't in a good place right now.
Most of his friends at LSU believe this is a two birds one stone deal. Think they can help LSU and Jimbo. Mixing friends and business isn't good.

How could Jimbo be better than Coach O? Dumbo Jimbo has already lost two games with his own team. #NoGeauxForJimbeaux

what does this mean?
He seems fine on TV interviews
Jimbo seems the same to me
he hides it well
I understand the personal side of it
he may need a change

Are you happy or unhappy if he does leave? IYO who does FSU target if LSU hires Jimbo?
