We can all agree Ogeron has done a good job as an interim coach-both at USC and LSU so far. But it's really not fair to him and Ensminger for them to be evaluated for the full-time position while being interim coaches. They are pretty much tweaking the system and the hand they are dealt with as for the system that was in place. You can't put in a whole new offense during the season. As a head coach, Ogeron would be able to hire the personnel he sees fit and put in a system that best suits the players.

I don't think there is any plan for O to keep Ensninger as OC.

Ok so let's judge him on the job he did while at Ole Miss. No thanks.

Yeah not fair at all that the LSU job fell into his lap and he had an opportunity to stake his claim.

Life is so unfair.

He had a miserable losing record as a full time HC. Foisting his arse onto the LSU fanbase wouldn't be fair.

Thats the way it goes, though. He has coached more games than a typical interim

When you lose a game to Florida in that kind of fashion, you have no business being the HC at LSU. And that's really all there is to it.

Honestly, he's lucky he's gotten any opportunities at all as a HC, interim or otherwise.

Well then let's evaluate him off of his full time head coaching experience, where he was a complete failure.

Okay. Let's evaluate O on his overall record and not just the last 7 games. His overall record is 20-29. No top 8 program would even consider him. That's fair.

Orgeron has always known what the deal is. That's the reason he has campaigned so hard.

Dude O would be a good hire if we were Miss State or UH but not LSU. He has lost control of the team already. Would LF ever take a selfie during a game with miles?
