You're joking

If orgeron stays, I would hope he would have a home run hire with the amount we would have to spend on a top OC. No offense to Lindsey but he is not that.

Chip Lindsey
Totally agree, this guy makes average QB's look good...The one at USM broke all the records Favre has there and was not hardly recruited. Also had 2 1000yd rushers....

Give some names other than Carroll and Belicheck, who were infinitely more successful at their 1st stops than O.
This subject has been discussed as nauseam. I thought this thread was about an OC candidate.

Chip Lindsey as OC
I never thought I'd see the day where the coach at my kids' high school could potentially be OC at LSU.

Very ignorant post.. Many coaches are formed WR coaches.. Db coaches.. Qb coaches etc.. Who rely on their coordinators to develop and gameplan. Only some coaches call plays on offense.. Hiring good coaches is just a part of managing a program and if O can do that well along with everything else he will be a success. I support O even though I didn't want him as HC.

Dave Aranda who you all think now is God came from some small universities....Some of the best ones you have to catch on the way up...
Most of you haven't played a down, most of you haven't played a down in a Power 5 program
Most of you have not been on a coaching staff at the college level so quit trying to come off correcting others like you know shite cause...you don't...You can have your opinion but no need to act like you know more, cause once again you don't..

Look I'm not advocating for O, but plenty of coaches have failed at their first and even second jobs and have gone on to successful careers. If he wins out he will be 13-3 as interim coach at 2 top schools and 5-1 in the sec. his only losses will be to #1 Bama, UCLA, and Notre Dame
But he was terrible 10 years ago. Can we not just focus on that instead?
