^This. Gus might get run off next year, not sure LSU gonna want that.

If y'all are making wish lists, I can't believe Pete Carroll isn't on it. He's literally the one coach I'd worry about as an Alabama fan. Possibly Harbaugh the as another.

Yes I am saying that. The same guy who has ruined an Eagles organization. The players want him out. There is nobody backing him in Philly. He works in the PAC 12 where defense does not exist. He would probably do well in the Big 12. But where he goes defense does not follow. A

You clearly have not watched the Eagles this year. Their front 7 is stacked as frick. Their wins right now are because of that front.

The Eagles fricking suck like the rest of the NFC East. Chip the wannabe gm has destroyed that team.

Chip Kelly. Out of his 42 NFL games he's coached the Eagles have gotten over 400 yards of offense 26!!! times! That's more than any other team in that stretch.

I do wonder if he would target and get the top recruits at LSU and if he can find a great DC. His defenses will need to have a lot of depth since they will be on the field a lot.

Chip and Smart are not even close to comparable. Chip is the best coach on that list. Jimbo may be the best overall fit.

I agree. Harbough and Pete Carrol should be at the top of any list. Both bring good credentials (better than Jimbo Fisher) and would be good recruiters.

OUt of a list of coaches we might actually have a shot at and would be a good fit I would go with Mullen

I was wondering who people would want that has a realistic chance of coming here. There is a 0% chance Pete Carroll or Harbaugh would come to LSU right now.
