Think about this way, if you are young head coach and you tank at a big-time, high pressure coaching job like at A&M, you have just shortened your head coaching career...I know for a fact that there are some young coaches that think this way. They like being head coach and they want to be comfortable with their career progression...

Maybe. but Larry Fedora is 50, he has no less expirience than Sumlin. Now he may have passed on A&M to build his resume, that I don't know, I thought he had interest and I thought he would have been a good hire for them. As it is they made a great hire.

I hope Saban stays at Bama for the rest of his career. That way when LSU continually kicks the shat out of gumps, it will feel that much better.

Texass made the call after last season to Saban's agent and he turned them down, I dont see him leaving Alabama for another coaching position.
