do you have a problem with the way Orgeron has handled the RB position?

at times but I can't remember one coach I didn't have a problem with in how the rb's were handles
To me, the Fournette ego issue was the bulk of the problem with Les and O this season; but watching Guice pile up the carries vs A&M made me cringe.

I know we had to keep scoring, I get that. But there has to be better management than to go over 35 carries, and to hell with the record. If he would have gotten hurt on carry #35, with a pretty big lead, and Williams/Brossette sitting on the bench, that's a disaster.

how many teams did we physically outmatch and allow to play with us during the miles era?
I get ya, but remember last season- both Arkansas and Ole Miss were significantly better than they are this year. Arkansas was making a push with Bielema's Big Ten ball, and Ole Miss had all that talent with the Land Shark stuff.
Plus, let's not forget the emotional issues; last season we were headed to the playoffs, and that got blown up at Bama. We slumped afterwards.

This season, it got blown up by Wisconsin in game 1 basically, and the slump carried through the Auburn game. That cost Miles his job; but the season was still young and Orgeron was the beneficiary. With him coming in the way he did, we had a lot of talented players with no more pressure on them.

Guys like Fournette, White and Beckwith were playing for the draft; guys like Guice, Etling and Chark were playing for more time and future spots.

We don't get that same dynamics next season.

"O, by all accounts, lets his guys coach"

How did that work out for us in our 2 L's?

I didn't see much in the way of a difference in our results. Did you?

Why is it ok for the Saban's to put in suggestions on D and the Herman's, Jimbo's to do the same on O, but the LSU HC should be hands off?

The formula is to hire former sucessful coaches that are let go for "other" reasons. Bama has a couple on payroll, lsu will put them on staff.

With Ed O running the show, if the former frick up coaches can stay clean here, they can stay anywhere. LSU can use Saban's tight leash against him to out recruit him for shitty human being coaches!

By the time Kiffin is gone, Bobby Petrino will have banged another blond on a motorbike. He is LSU's next OC.

Not going to read all 6 pages, but here's the correct answer:

1) O is > Miles (will let his coaches coach)
2) Kiffin is a >/= Fisher as an OC
3) Aranda is >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Pelini

How quick can he replace them if they leave? That's what Les struggled with. Don't forget if we do actually make a couple runs O will be demanding higher pay (as he should), but that will lead us back to going cheaper for coordinators.

Lsu won a title without Jimbo and played for another without pelini and Jimbo.
