How embarrassed are you as an LSU fan about the hire?

How incompetent does this make LSU look? The national perception is pretty bad. LSU is the Saints of college football. 400 yards of passing, but can't kick a fricking 20 yard field goal to save its life.

I think most other fan bases are pleased with the hire. I have received nothing but "Great hire!" emails from people with degrees from other SEC schools.

I'm all for giving the guy a chance.
He has about the same shot at being successful than Herman did with this talent.
Get an OC and a QB and they're fine. This isn't Ole Miss 10 years ago.

Stop melting. It's a good hire so long as they didn't pay too much.
Frankly, the crop of hires left much to be desired. Herman lost 3 games which no one should lose, and he has only been an HC for 2 years.

I agree, but I think the embarrassment is more about the fact that we were lazy and cheap rather than the actual hire
