After years of Les Miles' shitty offensives, that was the worst offensive performance since 1/9.

Throw in the clock management issues, and he was able to fit all the flaws of LM into that one game. That alone should have diqualified him from consideration.

fricking sick of shitty offenses. Enough is enough. And a f'n career dline coach isnt the answer. He's won against teams that we could run the ball against and shite the bed against the one team that we couldn't. The guy is Les Miles with a cajun accent.

In other words, replace Miles with a Miles without the resume.

Orgeron had been on the job for four games before the Bama game. He also has a TE's coach leading the offense that could not be totally revamped in four games. I don't think anyone outside of some Rantards expected LSU to beat Alabama this year.

If O makes a good to great OC hire LSU will just fine on offense.

three humiliating losses

Houston losing to other G5 schools is not 'humiliating'.

What happens on defense after Aranda leaves?

Say what you want about Herman, but he's 20-3 with a roster largely comprised of players he did not recruit. He like many young coaches (go look at Saban's first season or 2 at Kent St.) will lose games implementing a system at a new school.

Is it a good thing to not have recruited any of the players he is having success with?

Why did he do better his first year? He played and beat 4 ranked teams in his 1st season. This year he lost to Navy, SMU(303 off yards) and has struggled to barely beat Tulsa and UCF. And he had 292 total yards of offense against Tulane. Isn't he an offense guy?

is it a good thing to inherit an incredibly talented team and beat up on shitty teams?

I'm still waiting on you to name the two impressive wins O has as a head coach.

Any person that seriously would prefer O to Jimbo is a grade a fricking retard or so blinded by tribalism "he's one of us" that they should have no say in anything ever to do with logical thinking.

That's the type of backwards arse thinking that happens in a sectarian strife POS backwater like Iraq. Then again, it is Louisiana...

Relatively speaking, it would be worse than hiring curly hallman in 1990.

For a team w/LSU's talent to lose to either would be bad, but not so much for Houston.

we're looking for the guy who can rise above and beat the team with similar or better talent than us.

O proved one thing to me. He can't do that.

Even though he had been on the job for 4 games? The fact that the OC was the TE's coach a few games before? Delusional LSU fans expect miracles and then act dejected when their stupid unrealistic expectations aren't met.

wait we have a record setting offense under O's miracle working, but getting shut out and not even sniffing scoring position if not for your D is not on him?

you've lost it

ep. I just scratched Jim Harbaugh off my list. How do you lose to Iowa? Do not want.

And Urban Meyer, he's off as well. Losing to Penn State? Joe Pa ain't even alive anymore, how does that happen? Would the LSU players even like Urban as much as they like Coach O?

One game in close upsets is one thing. Five disappointing outings in five weeks is another. Gaining 303 total yards and losing 38-16 to SMU is a far cry from Michigan being upset on the last play and Ohio St losing on a returned blocked kick with four minutes remaining in the game.

i didn't expect him to beat Bama this year.

I did however expect him to NOT do an almost flawless impression of Les Miles.

When people say "If O wins out, give him the job", what does that mean to you?

it means he is doing the job. Going 6-1...7-1 with sugar bowl win is pretty damn impressive with only loss to the best bama team saban has had.

I guess you are saying Jimbo would've beaten bama had he been hired on after CLM was fired?
