kill is a good coach, but minnesota needs to make a move with its football program, and i dont think kill is the man for that

Safe hire, as he has a lot of experience running a college program. But I think his ceiling is low.

Great hire by Minnesota. Kill has come from being an assistant at Webb City to this now. When we hired Ball instead of him after 98 was huge mistake. He then went to SIU and stuck it up our butts. I think he can set stability to a once proud program.

Don't think Jerry Kill won a National Championship as a Defensive Coordinator at Texas & was the Defensive Coordinator for another undefeated SEC team (Auburn) like Chizik was. The only reason the Chizik hire was made a big deal in the media was because he wasn't black & he didn't do well at a couple of years stint at a crap program Iowa State.

The head coach at Iowa State currently has more than double the wins that Chizik had in 3 seasons, while being there for only 2 years.

Chizik coached at Iowa State for only 2 season's which were the 2007 & 2008 seasons. So you just made your pointless argument look stupid. Who is that coach at Iowa State winning with? Oh yeah Chizik recruits.
Iowa St just went 5-7 it's not like they are tearing it up or anything. Bottom line in this whole conversation is that Jerry Kill is not nearly as good of a coach as Chizik so why not stop digging and carry on?

How do you even know this? Kill has won everywhere he's been the head coach.

They have Maurques Gray. He's more like Russell Shepard, used him alot at recevier this year. He'll take over at QB next year now that Weber's gone.

They would love to get back to somewhere near where Mason left them...bowl qualifiers just 1 or 2 players away from respect.
