I got this from the ncaa's men's basketball record book available [link=(http://fs.ncaa.org/Docs/stats/m_basketball_RB/2014/D1.pdf)]here.[/link] The introduction of the 45-second clock in 1986 looks like it may have sped things up but going from 45 to 35 in '94 looks like it accomplished almost not...

I may be missing something really obvious but the '92 team went 26-8 and 13-3 in conference play. Beat LSU twice but got taken to OT in Barnhill. 3 seed in the tourney but lost to Memphis in the second round....
