I think so too. Corch informed Foley of his decision on Saturday. Foley was supposedly out of town, so they couldn't announce the resignation until Wednesday.

My guess is that Foley paid a visit to the next head coach.

They would have to act quick because UF and Miami without a coach right now is really good for FSU right now.

Whittingham is a great coach but I would like to see Petrino to Fla and Malzahn to Ark justto watch the fall out. I would rather see a coach like whittngham or Malzahn at Fla who we would only face every couple of yrs or in the seccg than atLSUif Miles were to leave for Michigan. I don't think Miles is a bad coach but I don't think LSU can reach its full potential under him as well.

I'm pretty sure Florida has been working on this situation for a year now...I think Meyer was really leaving last year but Foley convinced him to stay one more year so that they could get their ducks in a row...

From the beginning of There Will Be Blood or the end? Maybe the version from Gangs of New York would be interesting as well...
