FWIW, another "in the know" told me Friday that:

1) Crowton to resign by Wed.,
2) Billy Gon called plays Friday night,
3) Miles to Mich and
4) Bo Pelini was in BR this weekend talking about his possible staff for next year

Your source reads TD!

Finebaum doesn't know what he's talking about. He has no sources with anything related to LSU. The avergage Rantard knows far more about LSU than Finebaum. Finebaum doesn't know and doesn't care and just says stuff off the top of his head to appease his callers. He's admitted as much at times.

Don't listen to Finebaum.

I was about to say, Saban is about the same way....yet he's worshipped here.

Some people are using retarded logic. If anyone knew how big of a douche taylor martinez was they'd somewhat sympathize with Pelini having to deal with a Grade A Prima donna

If he can't handle the abrasion in Lincoln, he sure can't handle Baton Rouge.

Make him OC then. Seriously though, that offense didn't look like anything we had run this year. Someone was messing with it no doubt.

His staff sure as hell better not include anyone currently on his Nebraska staff. He'll probably fire Chavis and Cooper so one of his brother's can get a job.

I can tell you a lot of bammers including fshitz are worried about who lsu would hire. Listen to a replay show driving back from bama yesterday morning. Several callers referred to LSU as the sleeping giant and that CLM was good for 2or 3 losses a year

The biggest fear they have is for LSU to hire a real good coach with all the talent we have.

Someone emailed Finebaum's show to say that the first question Michigan should ask Miles in the interview tomorrow is, "If there are 35 seconds left in the game, how many seconds are there left in the game?"

Reminds me of the people that disliked Miles so much at first because he didn't yell like Saban. There are different ways of doing things that can both still be successful.

How is a team with two NC's in the last ten years a sleeping giant? We've obviously not been sleeping. Those callers are stupid.

It's a reference to the simple fact that we have the current talent and we're able to recruit the talent to win the SEC and compete in the BCSMNC EVERY year if the right coach comes in here.

Look. I remember sitting in Tiger Stadium and watching Nick Saban get so mad he was damn near vibrating to the point of levitation. Bo is the same way and it wouldn't hurt my feelings at all.

Pelini would be bad. Very bad. A screamer. Unstable. Embarrassment waiting to happen...

But we all bow down with reverence when the great Saban spanks players on national TV?

A Bama caller just called in and said this very same thing. Seems they are a little worried about what might transpire in Baton Rouge over the next few weeks.

It's because they don't know that our AD is considering offering Pelini the job. Can't wait to loose all of our defensive staff because we hire this nutcase.

I would agree with this based on recruiting alone.

I occasionally do just to laugh at the Bamabillies. For the record, Finebaum did just say that LSU shouldn't go after Pelini and they should go after Gary Patterson.

That's a fair point but Saban also slapped his players on the arse and gave them props after a great play

I haven't seen as much of that positive from Bo at Nebraska of late
