Why all the Pelini hate? It might not be the most exciting hire, but we're afraid of him because he yells at people? I thought thats why people didn't like Miles, that he was too "soft"? And somehow some guy with a pirate fetish is more stable?
He's brought Nebraska back from irrelevance & was within 12 seconds of beating Texas last year.

The problem with Pelini is that his staff at Nebraska, which one would presume he'd like to bring with him, isn't as strong as the one currently at LSU save Crowton and Stud. His entire offensive staff isn't very good, and brining in his brother to replace Chavis would not go over well with the fanbase. It should be a requirement that whatever coach is brought in must keep Wilson, Cooper, and Robinson, and hopefully Moffit, on staff.
