NC connected alum/friend says Fedora puts players in the wrong positions, specifically mentioned Willie Parker... I am also cooling on Jimbo... Herman/Aranda or O/Aranda ... O/Aranda only if we get a top notch O coordinator , whoever that is.

I agree. No Fedora, No Jimbo! Did everyone forget how horrible Jimbo was when he was here? The only reason he won at FSU was because of Winston, who he should have kicked off the team.

Herman/Aranda
Aranda/Bad-arse-OC
O/Aranda/Bad-arse-OC

Yeah Fedora and Fleck would be monster risk. IMO it's

1. Fisher
2. Herman
3. O

You don't go past 3 if O wins the last 2.

Does that mean Fedora is your choice. Just wondering.

Sounds like someone at LSU has a man crush on Fedora.

THAT is the big question! Who in the heck would that be? It would need to be a big time proven winner who isn't already angling for a head coaching job. I don't think there is one who would fit the bill, that is to justify keeping Orgeron. I really think to keep him it would have to be an all world OC hire which I just don't see. I think we need to get a very offensive minded big time head coach. I really think Orgeron is a risk.

Fedora was at MTSU and UF when Willie Parker was at UNC. In fact Parker had played his last down in the NFL before Fedora got to UNC.

you seem to be a fedora fan. What exactly has he accomplished to make you feel like he's a good coach?

When you look at his 10-3 season at unc, where is the quality win?

Just statiscally had the 2 of the 4 top offenses in LSU history. Had 2 out of the 4 statistically best QBs. All under fisher. Yeah he sucked.

What? Willie Parker played for UNC a decade before Fedora was hired.

You are clearly not much an

if you can't remember how dominant LSU's offense was under Fisher. As another poster mention, 2 of the top 5 offenses in school history were under his direction.

247 poster who is connected and an insider said O already has a staff in place if he gets the job. Obviously he has to get them to say yes but apparently the guys he wants are interested.

Jimbo is off your list because he was so bad at LSU, but O is on your list despite how bad he was at Ole Miss. YAY LOGIC!

I , for one, wouldn't be bummed out if Fedora was hired. Maybe not the home run hire but he is a solid coach. Did a good job at Southern Miss and North Carolina.

I mean if we pay 8 figures to fire a coach for Larry Fedora I'm going to be pretty bummed.

I would be bummed too. He left Southern Miss in shambles. Two different coaches won a total of ONE game in two years. Don't tell me Todd Monken was a bad coach. He rebuilt that program to 9 wins and took an n.f.l. gig.

Secondly, how many ranked teams did he beat winning that division? Mind you he lost to the worst south Carolina team in ten years.

Fast forward to this year. he's played one ranked team in fsu and won on a 56 yard fg. he lost to the worst Georgia team in 10 years. Not to mention that juggernaut know as Duke.

Notice the trend, losing to lower tier s.e.c. teams in consecutive years.

Average coach at best.
