The guy is hiring Chan Gailey to be his offensive coordinator. For that reason alone Bowles has no business being the head coach of the Falcons. Bringing Gailey back to Atlanta would have been a very, very bad p.r. move. He will fail in New York because he has no QB and he is relying on Chan to run the offense. Bowles is a dumbass.

To know he's a certainty to end up in Atl would mean that the HC is known. I really hope it's Quinn.
ETA: Only problem with Quinn in Atl, as a Bama fan, is his relationship with Kirby Smart. He may offer Kirby a spot on that staff as DC. Kirby may consider that as it would get him within 2 years of an HC gig in college or NFL if they performed well.

This would be the best possible scenario...A spread offense in Atlanta could do some serious damage. And you'd have to think Austin could at least make the defense presentable
