If we go for an experienced HC, we have...

1 Auburn - won't leave
2 TCU - signed extension
3 Oregon - won't leave
4 Stanford - left for NFL
5 Ohio State - won't leave
6 Oklahoma - Stoops?
7 Wisconsin - maybe?
8 LSU - N/A
9 Boise State - said he's staying
10 Alabama -
11 Nevada - maybe?
12 Arkansas - a possible surprise?
13 Oklahoma State - Is he a MAN now? - would listen I'm sure
14 Michigan State - ?
15 Mississippi State - Mullen - yes
16 Virginia Tech - No way
17 Florida State - Jimbo - yes
18 Missouri - Pinkel?
19 Texas A&M - please, no
20 Nebraska - Bo - yes
21 UCF - Holtz - yes
22 South Carolina - would be a surprise
23 Maryland - ?
24 Tulsa - ?
25 North Carolina State ?

Mullen, Jimbo, Pelini, Holtz from this list?

Signing an extension doesn't mean he is untouchable when referring to Patterson. His school has half the funds of an LSU, Texas, FL, etc.

Who are your prospects outside of the top 25 or NCAA period? The usual Cowher, Billickm & Gruden.

Why the lol @ Saban? I think we could get him. Can you imagine the meltdown in T-town, and the "second chances" storyline for the sportscasters?

Peterson said he wasn't leaving for the stanford job, the lsu job would be completely different. Patterson I truly believe is a possibility, and he has a really good OC that he can bring over

Dude TCU wouldn't have a shot at matching 4 mill a year for a coach........Are they a rich private school? Sure. But can they outbid pocketbooks from the "big boys?" NO.

You mean the one that just left his staff to be co-OC at Texas.

Patterson isn't leaving TCU anytime soon. His wife and family are from Fort Worth and love it there...he is paid well, long term contract and his team is headed to a BCS conference. Fat Chance he leaves...

But, his school is going to one quarter of the conference. He really could be in a situation in 2012, where he perenially dominates an AQ conference. That has to come into the equation.

Alright. I am pulling this info third-hand or something like that, but from what I understand, Patterson gets a nice stake in oil futures or something of the sort. Just part of the package, and yes, TCU is in the top tier of endowments...

Not denying those tidbits..........I'm just saying he is getting like 2.5 million right now and just moved to the Big East.

If a team offered him 4 mill a year he'd have alot to think about.

I'd be okay with Bielema. 49-16 overall record, 27-13 conference record.

2006 = 12-1, 7-1 (Coaches #5, AP #7)
2007 = 9-4, 5-3 (Coaches #21, AP #24)
2008 = 7-6, 3-5
2009 = 10-3, 5-3 (Coaches #16, AP #16)
2010 = 11-2, 7-1 (AP #7) Big Ten Champion

That's pretty good production out of Wisconsin. Not sure if he'd be interested though.

He'd probably think about it then say no. There are very few real options at this time.

Miles has faults but gets the job done and runs the program well. I've been supporting him and hope like hell he doesn't leave.

Bielema's team scored 90 on Indiana. We could use that.
