The rule for an umpire is that if a catcher has to turn his glove over to catch a pitch, it is a ball. But that wasn't the only bad call that game.
FWIW, I caught in college and spoke with several umpires trying to build rapport. They kept telling me to try and keep my glove pocket facing down,...

With the speed rushers we have at DE in a 4-3 set, we could put the big bodies on the line, and drop the ends as OLBs. Then you don't have a shortage of LB's. All you really need is two ILBs....

I haven't read everything in this thread in a while, but what do you think of Fridge, OBU? Is he truly worth it, or should we go with someone younger?
ETA: I think the chefs in BR are safer with Fridge not becoming the OC here, as has been said many times in different threads......
