Alabama loses 2 games; all hell breaks loose.

LSU loses 3 games; Hire new BBQ Cook.

Well he's the one doing it, don't get mad at me.

I just said I respect that he's not satisfied with the way things are going, so he's shaking things up. I didn't say I think he's right, in fact I think the team will be appreciably worse next year. I just admire that he's not complacent.

We now have the same defensive staff as Sabans first two years at Bama.

This is played out now. Besides, Les can just invite Javi over to make up for Studs loss.

Sweeping change as a knee jerk reaction over minor issues never bods well...

I can seethis type of clean sweep at Florida, but not currently at Bama.

We've changed 3 coaches. Not exactly a clean sweep.

Saban's original Alabama defensive staff is pretty much back together.

This is so stupid. They were dominant last year and if a miracle fluke FG return doesn't happen they're sitting on 3 in a row. Hardly justification for an entire program shake up.

I didn't think they were "dominant" at any point last season like in years past. It makes sense to me to shake it up if it's necessary. i remain skeptical on the Kiffin hire though.

They weren't dominant against Auburn, nor LSU, nor A&M. They skipped the 5 best teams in the East.
Now I don't know that they had any license to be dominant.

Completely agree. Seems like he's overreacting, panicking, flailing, etc.

So, Saban coaches DBs and he moved Smart back to DBs and brought in a LB coach. This seems more like an indictment of Smart's ability to coach LB than Brown as a DB coach.
