He certainly could, the guy is a loose cannon and huge

You guys are just dumb if you think LSU should hire Ed Orgeron.

He is a complete psycho.

I'm not really concerned about a violation like an "illegal workout." Programs are out here buying kids cars and giving away cash, and we're not going to hire someone because he might have led a workout for a prospect? Seems silly.

Not to mention the guy is fricking stupid.

He's making 1.2 million a year with a 4 million dollar buyout.

What do you make? What's your buy out? Probably the same as mine 0

Not that stupid!!!!

I won't dignify that argument with a response. Utterly dumb.

I don't have a dog in this fight but so far your links are not as horrible as you make him sound. Had some legal issues 20 years ago, was perhaps mean to a player 15 years ago, and maybe conducted an illegal workout (secondary violation) with a prospect while at UT. Meh.

Yea were the ones dumb to want one of the best position coaches in the country and probably the best recruiter in the country. The football program would be better with him around.

you're right.

13 domestic violence accusations, headbutting a manager of a bar, and yelling at student athletes for going to class.

Definitely want him to be at LSU.

WE LOST HOOTIE, CAM, AND LANDON!

HIRE ED O!

Doesn't matter we will have a top 2 recruiting class and the best DB class BY FAR in the country and the best player.

LSU fans on here are hard to handle. I'm done with this convo.

ETA:

Jameis Winston is from Alabama. Happens everywhere. Can't get everyone.

We always have a top 5 recruiting class but a lot of times it's not what it seems. A lot of the 4 star and 5 star kids do not turn out like predicted. Pumped up stats against poor talent or whatever. It's being able to see which kids will be better at the next level. I think it's where some people miss sometimes on recruiting. It's obvious everyone has a past but to see what those kids out at USC did for O is pretty amazing with only 10 schollys a year. He's gonna get a good offer somewhere whether its us or not.

Yeah we love to make fun of him but the guy can recruit and the way he rallied USC has been impressive. He has the kind of energy LSU thrives on.

Is there a place for him on the LSU staff?
He hates LSU.

Orgeron to LSU: If LSU gets an opening, he'd be great as def asst and north LA recruiter. He turned down LSU after 08 season and regretted.
