Bret is a very good coach. I'd take him over anyone in the West after Saban.

And yes, if Dana leaves or gets fired, we could do a lot worse than Beliema. Although my first preference would be to bring back RRod.

Plenty, when he's at Golden Corral. :rimshot:

Bert has flaws for sure, but his farts are better football coaches than Ed Orgeron who you all seem to be so fond of.

Not that it matters, he's not leaving for LSU.

Bielma should get looks at getting fired from Arkansas.

That's all he should get looks from.

Bump..Another huge win for Bret and the Hogs.

Many of you are vastly underestimating this guy.

Would be a great hire have it above either Herman or fisher but I don't know that we would even try or if we did if he would be that interested

The dude is a yo yo. They'll lose to auburn and Arkansas fans will be wanting him fired again. No consistency.

I think he'd be interested if LSU pursued him. He can play a style of football that LSU likes in the ground and pound, but isn't a bonehead like Miles.

It's pretty much an sec unwritten rule not to poach coaches from within the conference.

If ND fires Kelly, ND might look at Bielema or the type of coach that emphasizes physical football.

No. I think his buyout is 16 million.

From last night's game:

Santos Ramirez- game clinching hit/forced fumble on 4th down
Henre Toliver- Sportscenter top 10 interception
Jared Cornelius- game winning TD

All from Louisiana. He seems to have a knack for getting some solid but under the radar players from the state already. Think he would do well there.

He would do well anywhere he went. The truth is, there are only so many schools where a coach can win a NC. There are considerably more when a team has a magical season, or has a once in a generation type athlete at an important position.

He would have already won at least one championship at USC, Texas, LSU, Notre Dame, Florida, just to name a few. He is a program builder. At Arkansas, just like the other 90-95 percent of colleges, all the pieces will have to come together.

He was a home run hire, whether we manage to win the SEC with him or not, because the SEC has nearly half of those teams in college football that can win it all without everything falling into place.
