That Sark story sounds 100% like something you float intentionally to keep the damaged goods as damaged goods. This comes in handy when others are seeking him, *or* when he actually jumps ship.

If Helfrich is available, they think he is a viable candidate, he wants the job and is ready to sign on the dotted line just get him. This is Mickey Mouse crap waiting on LK.
For the people that wonder why a lot of fans don't have faith in O, this would be a prime example. He is not running LSU football as if it's a business.

things they hear to this board. Even if it all doesn't come to pass.
Also, I don't buy into every thing being 100% true, but it's enjoyable to hear these

Two questions..Who is a better recruiter and who is a better developer of QB's between Kiffin and Helfrich?

An even better question is who is going to be here to coach more than one year? The answer definitely isn't Kiffin. He's interviewing for head coaching gigs now and will do the same the year after that and will continue till he's the head man. Which brings me to my next point... Why the frick are we even considering Kiffin?

And I'm part of the tidal wave that got les Miles fired. That's my contribution. You're welcome. I've been calling for his head since 1/9/12. I've been banned, and downvoted, but I persisted, I wouldn't be silent
And finally like the Trump victory, people woke up September 25th
The only inside info I have is about Stidham. Auburn leads, then A&M, then Florida probably. But everybody kinda has that idea. If LSU lands either one of the Briles and puts the press on Stidham I bet he comes to LSU.
I don't want Kiffin for OC, he's good, but he'll jump ship for a HC soon enough. I'd rather have a guy stay for the long run. Preferably Art Briles

What are you talking about? There is no rush to hire the OC, why not wait? This IS how the business works.
Aranda was officially hired on Jan 1st. Cam was officially named February 8th.
LSU is waiting for the dominoes to fall so that we might land one of the top OC's in the country. And if we don't get Kiffin, then LSU will need to wait for other top candidates to get through this next recruiting phase, finish bowl games, etc.
Caving to the demands of an eager fan base would be Mickey Mouse crap.

Well, if we believe that there's mutual interest between LSU and Helfrich, he's available RIGHT NOW. Why wait on LK? There's no guarantee that if LK is gone that Helfrich will be there waiting. Doesn't make sense to me.
I don't care for Helfrich necessarily by the way but if we're to believe O likes him, then go get him, he's a sure thing and he'd be here probably more than one year.
