He should have been more concerned with Auburn's offense.

What a goof.

Check back in a year.

Whatever Chief. Your defense failed so many times when that shifty offense gave you the lead with under 2 minutes to play.

I can understand the frustration.

At the same time, his defenses won't be near as good at ATM for 2 reasons. Lack of front 7 talent in Texas on an annual basis (lots of soft defenders in the state), and ATM's offense will keep his D on the field the same amount and probably more than it was at LSU.

Can't really blame him if true. But he had his fair share of frick-ups. I think he allowed about 10 game winning drives.

TBH I don't blame him being irritated. I would

Excuse for what?

How many championships would CLM if the O kept pace with the D?

What a retard.

He blows it with a fantastic offense in 2013, then goes to a team that he shut down and beat 4 times?

He's full of shite.

LSU was top 10 in time of possession. A&M was 125

My point exactly. LSU could control the ball. With ATM, there will be scoring, but lots of quick series as well.

here's the big issue, A&M fans are tickled pink with this hire...but man this could be a disaster of a marriage.

Well if that article is indeed somewhat true, then some of us posters on here and I will include myself need to STFU about the Miles clause, Money matters and say Alleva caoused Chavis to leave. Obviously according to that article if any semblance of truth puts it squarely on the offense and seems to make sense based upon what he said to the Houston reporters once landing over there.

This reminds me of when Muschamp was introduced at AU. He said something like "I'm proud to be at a place that can compete for Championships". I was thinking "you controlled your own destiny at UF and failed, that's YOUR fault."

Chavis' defenses were good at LSU, but he was handed a ton of talent as well.

And we will continue to possess the ball and run all over A&M. With the talent he had here we gave up close to 150 rushing yards a game.

While I can understand his frustration but at least he was at a place that had the talent to make him look good.

BOOM no surprises there. chavis is as loyal as they come. he was sick of miles and his archaic 70's offense and lack of a QB.

Muschamp's comments weren't a shot at UF. He was asked why he didn't take a lower tier HC job (like Houston which he was rumored for). He'd rather be a DC at An SEC school than a HC at a bottom feeder

The only shot at Florida he took was the comment about the housing
