"minor adjustments" not major overhauls
He is right. They dont need major changes. there is no need to go from pro style to spread or anything which would be a major change.
The need is to get someone who can develop a qb. If we had that then lastnight's game wouldnt have been close. the playcalling was fine for the most part lastnight, Harris just could not complete a pass to save his life.
The I formation offense works great if you can have a QB that can complete passes when asked to do so. SO minor changes would work wonders for this offense. Starting with a capable QB coach and a little more imaginative playcalling.

I wonder what he could do with Harris.
Set a world record for throwing his visor on the ground in disgust.

ne think Cam's offense looks any different than Crowton's or Stud's
For you to even ask this is laughable. Yes it looks different, that doesn't mean it's more productive or that there are not some aspects carried over. But for anyone who thinks it's the same offense, you either are not watching the game or you know zero about football.
Just go watch old film.

I agree with this.
Every position on LSU has been recruited to run a 'pro-style' or 'conventional' offense.
There are plenty of teams that can run a 'conventional' offense effectively. A team with LSU's offense should be killing it with a 'pro-style' offense.

we had a spread passing game with crowton in 2007 but that run game was all les all the way. Miles started running the whole offense his way in 2010 after JJ could not run crowton's offense in 09. ever read crowton's comments after he left? look it up. It wasn't his O. it was miles'.
Until we get a real pro style pocket passer we have no business running pro formations.
the problem is les doesn't use the middle of the field and he fails to attack weaknesses and make adjustments in game.
