After yesterday what makes anyone confident that Les will actually get a new OC?

I'm going to assume that Cam is perfectly content with his $1M/yr job and that the issue with his offense isn't him as much as it is Les.

I have no issue with a new OC but I'm not sure it will make a difference.

His NFL offense were terrible too which is why he is at LSU in the first place.

I'm not going to argue with that, nor do I think he's a great OC. I just happen to think Les is going to have a big say in who he wants his OC to be next year. He was already hinting during his PC last night about "minor adjustments" not major overhauls.

The paradigm changed last night. Les has LSU by the short and curlies right now.

LSU is going to pay $1M next year for an OC to someone... Cam, Frank, or whoever but it won't matter.

Does anyone think Cam's offense looks any different than Crowton's or Stud's?

Cam doesn't have a contract for next year. Aleva won't approve a new one

Clearly, Joe Alleva can be overruled.

Why?

He's fricking useless.

Harris has gotten worse. His mechanics have gotten worse.

A "QB guru" would at least be making sure that didn't happen.

Cam has checked out. He's gone. Contract isn't being renewed especially not for $1 mill a year

nope, and that is a concern, but we'll have to see how it plays out.

Personally I think Les should pay Spurrier to come coach his offense. Spurrier made Wurffel Mathews and others look like world beaters. I wonder what he could do with Harris. He did say when he quit he would like to be just an OC. Hopefully they put out the feelers. He would be a good hire for Les that likes to have a balanced offense.

There will always be a difference when you look at 2007, and 2008.

you really thing SS would be content working under someone. I think that was him trying to be funny. I did hear he hired someone to help him in negotiating things dealing with sports broadcasting. He is ready to enjoy the good life and not work so much. He would have to work too much as an OC in college and again he would not be his own boss.

I'd rather hire Frank Wilson as an OC than have Cam return. That way we can hire a real QB coach.

The AD's nuts are in Kathy Miles' purse. Les Miles will keep who Les Miles wants to keep. Don't be so mean spirited.
