IMO only about 5 or 6 coaches in college were safe.

Cal has dropped since the Aaron Rogers days.

I have not read anywhere if Miles has any interest. Cal seems like the worst fit for him of any college with a head coach vacancy this cycle.

They were ranked #2 in 2007 about midway through the season. They lost at home to unranked Oregon State 31-28 due to poor clock management late and have never been the same since.

What if Kiffin got this job and bailed on FAU after 3 weeks. Would be the most Tiffin thing ever.

I would like to see Cal hire the HC of McClymonds. an Oakland high school. current state champ

McClymonds hasn’t lost to an Oakland Athletic League foe since Nov. 21, 2009. Its seven Silver Bowl title wins have been by an average of 22.4 points.

I wouldn't call Chip kelly's dismal outside the year he spent stoking Harbaugh's leftover dumpsterfire.

Lulz. The real surprise would be if owners were lining up to hire Trent Baalke as GM

Terrible move by Cal, Sunny is a good coach and would have needed just a little more time to get them into the PAC championship game.

No way, they were 3-6 in conference and their division just got tougher.
