Brando Says Herman and Jimbo are Pipe Dreams for LSU ??
Ok, but no disrespect to the cougars , But LSU is a Dream job when your coaching at Houston Timmie B!!
As for Jimbo, LSU pays Asst. coaches unlike FSU...

Brando personally told me the day of the last NCS game that Saban to Texas was a done deal and would happen at the end of 2012 season ." Take it to the bank"
He is like most. He relies on sources and sometimes those sources are wrong.
Brando definitely is two faced when it comes to LSU. Take what he says with a grain of salt. He will get no inside info from existing LSU leadership .
Also jimbo contacted LSU last year not the other way around. So likely Brando has no clue as to what he issuing about sexton and jimbo last year

What coach in their right mind wouldn't leave Houston to coach at LSU. Brando is an idiot. LSU is a top 1% job in college football.

The NOLA.com article was from June. The opinion regarding the Auburn game came from "several weeks ago."
Seems to me like he had the opportunity to watch LSU take a gigantic shite all over the field a time or two and -- gasp -- revise his opinion.

I don't agree with Brando's take about Herman's interest in LSU. U of H is a stepping stone to a top 20 program. But Brando is a huge fan of LSU. I know him personally and he wants the Tigers to compete for championships again.

Brando is going to diminish LSU any way he can it seems. The guy spent a half decade working for WAFB in the 1980's and he's a self-styled expert on all things LSU for life.

I doubt Brando has much of a clue but he's probably right as of now. Both coaches still are alive for the playoff, and the longer that holds true the more leverage they have. Whichever one loses first I think they'd consider offers seriously at that point.
