Add that to the baggage he brings, and we can go ahead and take this guy off the list.

New deal with Louisville Signed Spring 2016

This guys is simply not an option.

Geaux UL; beat Houston.

As a Clemson fan, I support y'all writing the check to get him to leave Louisville. If possible, hire him by the end of the week.

He has the best resume among all the options.

He turned us down in 2004 under heavy media scrutiny, why would we want him now...I guess so he can hire his mistress to work at LSU?

Are you telling me your boosters couldn't raise that in an hour?

I sure think they'd happily do it despite the baggage.

Get over it. On the list of reasons not to hire a coach, this is waaaaay down the list.

10m wouldn't even cover his hookers, coke and Valtrex tab.
Dude would win some games though.

it wouldn't be an issue for LSU to buy him out. I doubt the ville holds strong on the ten million. they would settle for less money, or BP might personally but in on the buyout as some coaches have done before.

the fact we are buying les out isn't really a factor in this due to the length of time we agreed to pay him out over. People are looking at things wrong when they just look at total vs how its going to be structured over time.

Petrino has to be the clear #3

If you want the nice guy as your coach then you should have just kept Miles. Bobby is a winner, plain and simple.

You want to go a long way towards solving Leaving Early Syndrome in Tiger Stadium?

Put Petrino's offense on the field running up the score.

Jurich is one of those ADs that would definitely hold strong on the $10 million, especially given their history with Petrino. Right now they have a ton of construction on campus and they're going to squeeze blood from a turnip to get it all done if need be. Makes it a little more unique than your typical buyout scenario.

If Lane Kiffen is an option so should Petrino. Lane still acts like a spoiled child by trolling folks on twitter. Petrino is just an a-hole who hates to lose. I like Petrino's O better than Lanes. Whoever said Petrino couldn't win at Arkansas is pretty damn stupid. Win he did. At Arkansas.
