Odom played at Missouri, coached at Missouri, was DC at Memphis then came back as DC and unofficially Pinkel's eventual successor. The timeline was just moved up. He's a fantastic defensive coach. And a good recruiter.
It's not the hire I was hoping for, but it could certainly be worse. We will just be dealing with on-the-job training until he figures it out.
The AD is going to pay good money for coordinators, no skimping there. Thankfully the entire offensive staff is gone. So, Henson is up for grabs!!
