Does anybody think there is a chance for the rams to go after saban? I don't think he would go back to NFL anyways. But would make things interesting.

Why would Saban want to jump to the NFL at this point, let alone one of worst managed franchises in professional sports?

Sure, they can go after him, but I doubt he'd even pick up the phone call.

I'm confident this board can get Saban hired by the Rams.

We all know how to get Saban as a coach if you really want him. You go to his house offer him a bunch of money and start writing personal checks to Mrs Terry until she tells Nickie to move to LA. Worked for BAMA.

Saban already proved he can't coach at the NFL level.

They might test the water with him. Supposedly he was interested in the NY Giants job...

Nope. Saban and NFL GM's understand that he is a college coach.

He will never coach in the NFL again. Not for any amount of money. It's not going to work for him and even with his ego, he's not going to try it again.

He tried the NFL, its not for him.

Harder to win in a league where the talent differential is much smaller.

He's too old and he would probably hate LA.

Sure they may go after him. But he has a statue of himself in front of Bryant Denney, he has diplomatic, legal and officiating immunity in Alabama, and he is as close to a living god in that state as Pharaoh was to the Egyptians. He won't be going to LA even if they double his salary.
