On the surface, it would seem like the best job in the league. Best city, new stadium soon, but the owner has a track record of sucking. They will struggle to get coaching talent.

Saban already proved he can't coach at the NFL level.

Can we pool some money together to bribe a reporter to ask the following press conference question:

"Coach Saban, your name keeps being associated with NFL jobs every year. Seeing as you were a miserable failure in Miami and bailed before making a significant commitment to their franchise, why do you think this is?"

I have nothing against Saban, this hypothetical would be strictly for entertainment purposes based on his response.

Very doubtful that it ever happens, but it would have to be a damn good franchise for Saban to entertain it. I.e. patriots, packers, cowboys etc.

i would say no. if they go the college rout it would be harbaugh who has a proven nfl record. saban is 65 with an nfl tenure that did not go well. if they wanted an older disciplinarian then tom coughlin (again with a proven nfl record) would make more sense.

Saban is too old to build an NFL team even if he could.

Probably will call to see if their is any interest but at this it's been proven he isn't good enough to be a NFL head coach like Pete Carroll, who successfully transitioned to the league. There is no shame in being the best at a lower level.

I hope not, because I want to beat Saban over and over again and really humiliate him.
