No one has claimed that?

It's just pointless to claim backing in to titles when its the norm in CFB.

All he cares about is his ego. He don't give a damn about what others think about him. He's out for himself.

If he stays, it's for professional reasons not because he's worried about his image.

genro, I could give a f@ck. I just love the sh!tstrom. It's you that is on this board 24/7. I just checked in now for first time since 10 AM.

Now, I will admit via a current Texas player's father, and via Chicken also, I have mentioned and been involved to Saban/Texas threads on the CC board going back over two years ago..do a search.

But, at the end of the day, my hurt over Saban leaving/taking a job, isn't now like yourself and Tiders..it was Dec 25th-2004.

If he stays, then it's game on..Miles..Sumlin..Gus..etc..

WTF does TT have to do with Saban?

Super scummy coaching action, way worse than Saban leaving for Texas would be, and nobody outside of Lubbock has thought about it since that week it happened.

Exactly. So, according to the stupid A&M fan here, unless you start the season in the top two and go undefeated you have backed into a title? Because otherwise someone had to lose for you to be in the game.

Great logic.

Well Texas will care.

Nobody gives a shite about Bama's hurt feelings if he leaves.

This is a business.

They took him as a Merc and now can't complain if he leaves - you know what you were getting. You hired someone for a few titles and you got them.

He's not beholden to Bama or to anybody.

And really...nobody nobody nobody cares about someone's "word" when winning solves everything in the American sports world.

Bama fans (as usual) being overly dramatic and grasping at straws if Saban were to leave.

I highly suspect that he and Terry have greatly enjoyed their time in TTown, the same as when in BR..

Doesn't mean they need to stay there here forth.

I could care less where they wish to set up shop.

As a Sabanista and LSU fan, I would prefer him elsewhere than Bama, yet also greatly enjoy his early years work building up programs before they are at full speed.

I much more enjoyed watching Bama between 2007 to 2009, than 2010-2013.

Though greatly enjoying LSU's 2004 and 2007 natty titles, also greatly enjoyed the early process circa LSU 2000-2003..

Just think CNS and Urban are far ahead of their peers in this regard..even of say GusBus too despite this year.

Am intrigued as to what CNS impact on not only possibly UT, but also Big-12, influence on Texas HS ball, and OU rivalry, could be?

It's like he's playing NCAA Football on all-american but he beat it so many time he's wants to make it more difficult so it can be challenging. So he sets it to Heisman.

In this case it's turning a dumpster truck program around while beating top rank opponent.

Its not his credibility that matters here. Its his wife's. "We're retiring here" Terry Saban in the WSJ. If he throws her under the bus and goes to UTx he'll loose it with EVERYONE.

LOL, Saban doesn't think like the rest of us, brah.

The part of his brain that's supposed to feel remorse is asleep in a bar, while the rest of his brain is teabagging it.

The way Saban thinks is, it's his world and other people are in it to benefit him and his agenda, on his schedule.
