It was cool when Mile signed a contract extension to stay at Oklahoma State and bolted to LSU. It was cool that he negotiated a deal despite Oklahoma State telling LSU they could talk to him. It was cool that Les Miles Made the Identical statements about LSU that he's made about Michigan when LSU was trying to pull him away from Oklahoma State.

If Michigan would have been ready two weeks ago to offer Miles deal he'd already be the Coach. LSU forced him to sign the deal or he would be fired. Michigan wasn't ready so he signed. If he leaves now Blame the Athletic Director for not getting rid of the Out clause to go to Michigan in this new deal!!!

You guys are hypocrites!!!

What does "not getting rid of the out clause" mean? Are you retarded? Do you actually know what the provision says?

actually the media will rip him apart if he leaves, not us. We'll just go out and hire a coach as good or better. I think most LSU fans will understand it's his alma mater and really won't be able to blame him.

If this is fact, back it up. If it's just your own theory (or wish) identify it as such. Or continue not to be taken seriously.

LSU fans are hypocrites. You are delusional, sir. Coach Miles made numerous public statements that he was staying at LSU. If he does take the Michigan job, it will be a PR nightmare on Michigan's part. Even Bill Clinton's spin machine couldn't help you guys.

Actually, the Ok. State AD denied permission to talk to Miles, because he stated that he never gives permission to talk to any of the OSU coaches. LSU then had no choice but to talk to Miles without OSU's consent, if they wanted to talk to Miles. Miles signed the extension with OSU before the LSU job opening came up and before he was even mentioned as a possible candidate. Once he became a target of LSU's coaching search, he neither admitted or denied his interest in LSU, despite repeated questions by the press. He simply stated that his focus was on preparing for the Alamo Bowl and he was not going to discuss the LSU situation.

What does getting rid of the Michigan clause have to do with anything? All the clause does is provide a penalty if Miles leaves for Michigan. Getting rid of it simply means that if Miles were to leave for Michigan, he would owe LSU nothing. Do you not understand that the buyout clause does not prevent Miles from leaving and that no buyout clause doesn't prevent Miles from leaving?

you guys act like miles went on and did those speeches because he wanted to. Your AD forced him to go on the air public before the game to say he was staying at AD. I respect LSU but I think you guys need to put some blame on your AD. Dont tell a team that they cant talk to your coach until after the SEC CG then force him to make a decision the night before on whether or not he is staying. Then blame the coach after he leaves because he had no other choice but to say he was staying since your AD.

Instead of a keeping 1.25 million make it 10 million. Make it so he can't leave. If I was a betting man I'd say they did try to do that and miles said no way.

What is your source for this bit of what sounds like complete fiction (or, less politely, bullshite)?
