Has anyone come up with a theory that uncat will give up her resurrected gift to Jon Snow?

It seems like a redemption for her and gets her out of the plot line after her vengence is achieved.

I think it's more likely that if he is dead, Mel will be the one to raise him.

Uncat is too busy getting revenge on the Lannisters and she still hates Jon.

I guess because he controls the web.

Exactly; he has hundreds, if not thousands, of spies in Westeros and Essos. He knows mostly everything that is going on--and it's going to be great when he and Littlefinger find out that Ned one-upped them by hiding Jon's identity the whole time.

I'm thinking that the GNC is right and that Rob legitimized Jon and made him heir before he died and UnCat and the BWB learn from Howland Reed who Jon really is, which would obviously remove any reason for her to resent him. Ironically, though, he would be legitimized as a Stark when he's actually a Targ and heir to a different throne.

I'm sticking with Mel bringing him back, if he's actually dead.

The real irony is he's still a bastard because Rhaegar was married to another woman

He's a lot like a Blackfyre

Rhaegar IMO married Lyanna.

Even if they were married and it made known, few would honor Jon Targstark's claim over a true Targaryen because Rheagar was still unfaithful to his wife.

But maybe he and dany get married and solidify the north and south?

I don't care, I want one of my asinine theories to work so I don't look like a hodor all the time!

Elia may very well have been okay with their arrangement--she was Dornish. Their marriage was purely political; she and Rhaegar were fond of each other but never in love with one another. She had his children but that was expected of her; and he didn't cheat until well after it was established that she couldn't bear anymore children. I'm not saying that I support Rhaegar's prophecy obsession but it wasn't something done on a pure whim.

Exactly. And for whatever reason, incest and bigamy were common for Targs and generally accepted.
