Clearly this can only be resolved by single combat. You and TigerInNY.
I name BlueGrassBell my second.
Although it would tragic to see her fighting with her ASOIAF soulmate.

I must have missed that. I remember them not liking each other vaguely but I can't remember the details. Fill me in?

My middle name is Dawn after all.
Maybe I'M the new Sword of the Morning. How 'bout that one.
That would be so GRRMesque.

Can I request a name change first? I always wanted to be called Rhaegar

If you've got Dawn, I guess that makes Cotton your Nissa Nissa.

My greatsword was forged in Valyrian Steel. Oak and iron, guard me well, or else I'm dead and gone to hell.

We are not trying to be dicks here. In order for threads like this to be worth a shite, we need participants. I think we just have very differing opinions. The fact that you suck on Big Al's honker has nothing to do with it (j/k man).
It's not about being dicks. I get that some people have certain mindsets as to how they think things will play out. I understand that.
My position is that we have a prominent character (Cersei) that is happy that another character (Margaery) will be represented by a trial by combat, if she chooses one, by inadequate members of the KG that will be easily defeated by her accuser. Once Cersei is arrested she feels that she will suffer the same fate until she learns that she can add another member of the KG (Robert Strong) and she finally gains peace in the situation.
I know that Margaery wants a traditional trial. That's not the issue here. Cersei was speculating on her options if she chose a trial by combat, nothing more. As a Queen they are to be represented by the KG in these matters. She based her thoughts on the assumption that Margaery would take that route. We know that Cersei is taking that path. Hence her relief that RS would be her champion instead of Blount and Moore.
I don't understand the confusion.

That's only if you believe the crackpot theory that Dawn is Lightbringer. I, SIR, do not.

Where the frick are you coming from? That theory is ludicrous

Yeah, I assume Cotton is an Ole Miss fan and Carson likes USC (because Lane Kiffin has no soul just like Carson), but we like them plenty.
I'm LSU through and through, but I've always liked Lane Kiffin. Nice call!

I will find it and respond, but it might not be tonight.

IIRC, it had something to do with fighting over control of The Reach.
It was a brief comment in The Sworn Sword when the Ser Eustace is reminiscing over a broken shield he pulled out of a box (pg. 16 on my Adobe reader). The passage reads:
"The Little Lion's shield." The old man rubbed at the rim, and some flakes of rust came off. "Ser Wilbert Osgrey bore this at the battle where he died. I am sure you know the tale"
"No m'Lord," said Bennis. "we don't as it happens. The Little Lion did you say? Waht, was he a dwarf or some such?"
"Certainly not." The old knight's mustache quivered. "Ser Wilbert was a tall and powerful man, and a great knight. The name was given him in childhood, as the youngest of five brothers. In his day there were still seven kings in the Seven Kingdoms, and Highgarden and the Rock were oft at war. The green kings ruled us then, the Gardeners. They were of the blood of old Garth Greenhand, and a green hand upon a white field was their kingly banner....."
A quick comment, but it struck me to know that the two lands (even though Lannisters are not Casterlys) have been enemies.

I nearly finished with my second read through Feast and Dance.
I read them chronologically, based on the chapter order on Tower of the Hand.
I highly recommend it. An excellent way to read the last two books.

I found it for you (Adobe Digital Edition's search function is the tits).
I print screened it since it won't let me copy and paste it.
ETA: From The Sworn Sword (the 2nd Dunk and Egg book).
