What's even crazier is what the faceless men charge for a murder or deed. Either one's income or a child. Not saying Ned had a deal, but i am in the camp that says Syrio was a faceless man it was more than crazy coincidence that Jaqen H'ghar crosses her path and pulls her in to the fold.

Oh, hell...another twist to consider! But I don't think he would have given his little dervish to them...unless they have a backstory there...

Oh, man...Hodor. NOW I'm gonna wrack my brains over that one!

Maybe the faceless men helped pull off the crazy little equation of R+L=JS or aided in Robert's war.

I think that Martin is going to pull something with them on a big scale. That is too elaborate of a back story and the insight from Arya's training at the house of white and black is just too much to simply say that Martin was being heavy handed in creating his little world.

When is the next installment in the book series coming out? I see where there is a chapter posted on RR Martin's web site already: Winds of Winter
SOB better finish this off before he dies......

Probably at least another 2 years to wait, and thats being pretty optimistic considering how long it took him to write Feast and Dance.

After Jon kills the wight with fire:
Whatever demonic force moved Othor had been driven out by the flames; the twisted thing they had found in the ashes had been no more than cooked meat and charred bone.
Dany's Undying Chapter:
“Let him be king over charred bones and cooked meat,” he said to a man below him. “Let him be the king of ashes.”
Is this foreshadowing Jon being king while defeating the Others/wights or king of the Others/Wights? I prefer the former, since I don't care for all those Starks/Others theories out there.

I'm convinced he comes back as a Super Other or something.

I think they'll go the Coldhands route with him too.

I hate to admit it, but there seem to be quite a bit of parallels/foreshadowing connecting the Starks and Others. I don't really like that theory, so I hope I'm wrong. I'll see if I can put something together though with all the parallels I've seen so far on my reread.

What are you suggesting? That the Stark line is destined to lead the Others in battle? I'm curious, because that would throw the biggest curveball possible. All we hear is how honorable Winterfell is and everyone loves the Starks and pulls for them.
Then in true GRRM style, "just kidding guys, the family bloodline has a connection to the evil zombie army." What would even be more of a mindfrick would be if he went that route, then painted the Others out as something more important than mindless zombies. Maybe make them have an actual purpose that isn't evil.

There are about 50 versions of the "heresy" threads on westeros.org, so it's hard to summarize.
There are a countless theories which may paint the Starks of the past as having a darker history than we are led to believe. I'd say most are crackpot, but there is a lot of discussion on the North/Old Gods/First Men.
As for the Starks leading the Others, yes that is one theory I suppose, but not one I believe. I don't know much of the actual theory though
Also, Martin has already said that "there is no good or evil" or something like that in asoiaf. But then we get shitheads like Joffrey and Ramsay. If Ramsay ain't "evil" then I don't know what it is
