re: Sonoma / Napa driver NOT a tour - Scoobahdoo
We just got back from Napa. We used mynapavalleydriver.com. They were awesome!! They use your rental car and charge $45/hr with a six hour minimum. I even sent them my list of wineries and they made the appointments for me and organized the day for us. Highly recommended.... ...

Need Advice from all of you Wine Connoisseurs.. - Scoobahdoo
Decided to start cellaring wine that I've been buying. I have a spare room to do this. I'm trying to decide what would be better and more cost efficient...a 200+ bottle wine fridge or turn the closet into a cellar. The closet is 10 ft wide X 10 ft tall X 4 ft deep. Of course, I would need something ...

re: Hot Tails in New Roads - Scoobahdoo
Is it Bueche's Bar again? Last time I went it was called Parrot's. I do love that place.
The owner has "The Bayou Bucket Challenge". He takes 6 of the cheapest, nastiest beers(Natty Lt, OMB, etc) and dumps them all in a tin pail and floats the cans on top. Then you are timed whil...

re: Hot Tails in New Roads - Scoobahdoo
Hell, theres a tragic little place called Bueche's Bar on the Island side of the river that has some of the best char grilled oysters I ever eaten. But it is the epitome of "hole-in-the-wall". Good groceries though.
My camp is about 3/4 mile from Bueche's. We go there a lot. T...

re: Cole Kelly - 2016 Pro-Style Quarterback (Lafayette, LA - Teurlings Catholic) - Scoobahdoo
My son plays with Cole Kelly at Teurlings. I've attended every game for 2 years now. Here's my quick take....Of course he can make all the throws....even the deep passes. Has incredible velocity on his throws. He's very smart and seems to be becoming a leader on the field. He has command of a very c...

My tentative plans are exactly this....fly into San Jose, stay 1 night, maybe head to the volcano region in the NW.....stay about 2 nights...then head to the coast in Guanacaste area....then fly home from there.... Also, if we would go to Napa, then we would bounce around SF, Napa, and other site...

re: Snow Skiing Options - Scoobahdoo
Definitely Steamboat!!! Mountain is set up nice, the base has a lot of options for food and drinks. Not too crowded because it's the farthest resort from Denver so they're are not a lot of day skiiers. And there's a reason the snow is called champagne powder...it is light and fluffy!!...
