re: Anyone with PVC's? Heart related. - Furbs311
I take a low dose antenelol for them. Stress is what does it for me. I eventually want to work my way off of it, but honestly I don't feel any side effects and it's been working for the past few months. ...

re: Hermine Damage on Prospective Home - Furbs311
Good info, thanks. I think this is the route we are going to go down. After talking to my realtor (don't worry, he's one of the good ones) he suggested the owner wouldn't likely accept an offer contingent on the roof being fixed AND my house selling. I think I'll list my current house and if I get u...

re: Hermine Damage on Prospective Home - Furbs311
For sure. But for example, the far left hand side is the master bath, which we wanted to gut, expand anyway. So the insurance company will rebuild on the original footprint and we'd just tear it all out. Guess I'm looking for a way to kill two birds.. Make necessary repairs AND renovate. ...

Hermine Damage on Prospective Home - Furbs311
Wife and I have been very interested in a vacant property that needs complete updating but is in a great neighborhood with a the size lot we've been looking for. Ideally we'd want to add an addition or carriage house for an additional guest bedroom, and I've spent the last week talking with a mortga...

re: Accountants: Corporate Revenue Recognition - Furbs311
I guess the fear is this will make it much easier to miss quarterly revenue projections (though I guess the following quarter will be sweat!). What's the reason for the change?...

Accountants: Corporate Revenue Recognition - Furbs311
I work for a division of a Fortune 500 company and the big talk around the office is how new GAAP standards will change the way we recognize revenue next year (from Google, I assume this is FASB 606 rule). Our company makes high dollar machinery that's paid for by several progress payments over the ...

re: Amazon has it's own cargo plane. Not a drone. - Furbs311
it on good authority that commercial pilots hate flying cargo, especially for long haul flights.
Not true. Long haul cargo is a great job. Some of the top pay and benefits, without the passenger piece of it. Now cargo flying for small feeders can be hard work usually done by n...

re: 116th US Open Championship at Oakmont - Dustin Johnson is the US Open champion - Furbs311
Followed him in Hilton Head the first two days. He's quirky but they way he interacted with the fans, especially kids, made me a fan. Something/someone different is good for golf ...

re: Covenant (Division III) forfeits championship match instead of playing on Sunday - Furbs311
I'm a member of the PCA which is the denomination affiliation of Covenant College. Apparently it's always been their policy not to play on Sunday, so I respect them for not caving on their convictions. That said, I've never quite understood the dogma surrounding the sabbath, particularly since bibli...

re: Weekly PGA Thread - RBC Heritage at Harbour Town GL - Furbs311
Followed Bryson's group Thursday and Friday, certainly handles himself like a pro. Easy to root for too.. Treated the gallery well, especially the kids. ETA: also has some amazing shots in the bag. His "bullet" drive is 300 yds and never gets 15 feet off the ground ...

re: Helicopter tour/rides (posted outdoors as well) - Furbs311
Does it have to be a helicopter? I don't live in BR, but look up the local flight school. They usually do sight seeing tours at reasonable rates in Cessna 172 or similar, which is great for low level viewing. ...
Club Rain
Might be exactly what an Ole Miss fan is looking for  And please do yourself a huge favor and stay away from the Paula Dean restaurant. Savannah has so many good places to eat, and that definitely isn't one of them.. Alligator Soul, Pink House, Garibaldi's, Cryst...

re: Savannah, GA - Furbs311
I work in Savannah. Stay on/close to river and Bay Street, most of the bars are between the river and Broughton, wouldn't wander much further than that at night. It's a cool town, lots of history, laid back. Personally I like Charleston better but Savannah has its up sides. ...

re: OT Pilots -WYFI - Furbs311
I've flown the King Air 90, 100, 200, and 300. The 1900 is a 19 pax plane that regional airlines use to use, not so much anymore. Most common is the 200 which holds around 6 comfortably. It's an awesome bird..smooth, pressurized, and turbine. You'll enjoy the ride. ...

re: Massive Fire in Dubai Skyscraper - Furbs311
I was there last month as well for work. As previously stated its clean and I felt very safe. Heck, seems like 80% of the city is ex-pat. The gold market/old Dubai felt a bit more "authentic". To me it was kind of blah.. Worlds tallest building next to the worlds largest mall..full of Five Guys, Tex...
