re: Speeding in school zone - Great Plains Tiger
Thanks for the input. I'll call and see what can be done. I don't have a problem paying the fine. In fact that's why I asked the question - I can't just pay the fine, I am required to go to court....

Speeding in school zone - Great Plains Tiger
So I got a ticket the other day for speeding a school zone. It was for 38 mph in a 20 mph zone....lots of work stuff on my mind and I wasn't paying attention. Well as it turns out in EBR I can't just pay the ticket but have to go to court. I am thinking about hiring an attorney to try and plea it ...

re: Where to stay and what to do in Wichita? - Great Plains Tiger
BBQ, I recommend Delano Barbeque Company. It would be a little far to walk from where you are staying but very easy to get to if you drove. Old Chicago Pizza is very near to where you are staying and I always liked it for pizza and beer. Also Pizza Hut was founded in Wichita. You can see the origin...

re: Where to stay and what to do in Wichita? - Great Plains Tiger
I lived there for 6 years, it's not a bad place. If you want something walkable I recommend the Coutyard on 2nd Street in Old Town. It's about a block away from several restaurants and a movie theater (The Warren) that serves food and booze. ...

re: Best 1099 reporting software? - Great Plains Tiger
Quickbooks does not make stand alone 1099 software - it is a full accounting suite. I suggested it intending that the whole package not be installed/used. Just load it up and use the part that does 1099's. If you want stand alone have a look at winfiler. It will be about the same price as QB a...

re: Tips from MT Coin Collectors - Great Plains Tiger
I am not a fan of slabbed (graded) coins and do not own a slabbed item. The reason for this is the majority of my collection was put together prior to the prevalence of the grading services. And, I really don't care if it has a grade or not; I am a collector. Who cares if it's MS69. If it's a good c...

re: Tips from MT Coin Collectors - Great Plains Tiger
I kept most of mine at home until last year when the collector in Gonzales was robbed and killed for his coins. After that mine went back to the safety deposit box. Also, I agree with the previous poster to go in after quality, not quantity. I have a price guide from 1969 and the stuff that was ...

re: Tips from MT Coin Collectors - Great Plains Tiger
I've been collecting since I was a kid and I am almost 40 now. My advice to someone starting out is to pick a specific type and to get the very best that you can afford. I have so much stuff now that it's near impossible to catalog it and it has become more of a hoard than a real collection. ...
