re: LSU's rushing attack is vastly underrated

Excellent two posts - and so true!...
Ware cannot innovate - if the hole is not there, he still runs into the pile. The rest can bounce it outside......
Jefferson is one of the worst quarterbacks in Division 1 football - despite that LSU's other athletes step up - this is why we will be so awesome next year....

Ok St goes if we lose to Ga and they beat OU. Then we maul Ok St in the NC. ...

Bama will never jump us - no one is going to penalize us for playing a game Bama didn't even qualify for, to the point that the team we beat in their house a month ago jumps us...are you kidding? Bama is SOL if we lose...and Saban himself knows it....

tider04 forgets: LSU beat Bama at Bama. Unfortunately, for Bama, the voters haven't forgotten. You are utterly delusional if you think Bama passes LSU if LSU loses Saturday....

Computers are a mere third. Humans would take over in this situation and make sure a rematch doesn't happen. Bama sits home Jan 9th if Tigers lay an egg on Saturday....

Two SEC non-conference winners WILL NOT GO TO THE NC. Most voters are dreading this rematch anyway. They will not vote LSU and Bama into the NC if LSU loses to Jawja. Only one will get voted in...and that's us, cuz we whooped Bama....

Win Win on Saturday

Posted by kudu on 11/29/11 at 7:49 pm
If Tigers win, we're SEC champs. If we lose, no big deal, just means Bama's out of the NC, and it'll be a little easier opponent for our 3rd NC in the last 8 years. This will be a relaxing weekend......
If LSU loses, the human voters will absolutely ensure that Ok State jumps Bama (if they beat OU). Bama will not jump LSU - not gonna happen, not with a win at Bama a month ago - 1.LSU 2. Ok St...
Because if LSU loses, Bama is out of the BCSNC, and he knows it. No two teams from the same conference, and neither of which won it, will get voted in. One will, but two won't. Now, all you Tide fans, in unison: "Geaux Tigers"!...

IMHO these guys all finally got it right. The SEC title game is irrelevant because LSU has proven they are worthy for the NC already...and the only team close is Bama. It has not been articulated this clearly the last 3 days, but now is. We're in guys regardless of a letdown with Georgia, and ...

re: Would we be talking rematch

This is all going down like this because it is Bama/Saban, and the media engage in a slobber-fest over Saban. They each really hope he likes them. I am so tired of watching it. If LSU were in Bama's position, their name would not even be in the mix......
Bama is the second best team, but if LSU loses to Georgia, Bama will not get in the NC...book it....
Who to pull for to destroy the rematch? ...Georgia...if Georgia beats us, we stay in and Bama does not get the votes. Two non-conference winners will not go to the NC, AND WE BEAT BAMA....

re: LSU loss scenario

Correcto - if LSU loses, Bama is dead meat....
Chances are 100% ... if LSU loses to UGA....
The voters will shoe horn anyone who won their conference ahead of Bama IF LSU LOSES. It is as simple as that. That leaves out Stanford - if VT and Ok St lose next week, maybe then Bama has a chance. ...

re: If LSU loses, Bama is out

Has nothing to do with being scared, but thanks for the advice, friend. Bama will not jump LSU on this regardless of UGA outcome - let me repeat, we beat Bama at Bama, and two one-loss SEC teams will not go to the NC. Think back to 2003; it's the same reason we went ahead of VT, because we be...
