re: My Biggest Beefs With Breaking Bad - KorrBG20
I made the Breaking Bad Plothole thread a few months back and I disagree with pretty much all the qualms the OP has with the show. Your complaints are like saying, "I don't find it believable that Michael Corleone would just all of a sudden get involved with crime when he had no interest in it befo...

re: Game of Thrones S5:E9:"The Dance of Dragons", BOOK READERS - KorrBG20
Show is getting silly. It's like shitty fan fiction at this point.
I agree. You clearly see the difference in writing when they go straight off the source material and when they do things on their own. They are starting to rely too much on action. The battle in the pits was ...

re: Game of Thrones S5:E9:"The Dance of Dragons", BOOK READERS - KorrBG20
I wish they went the Jurassic Park route and made a Drogon animatronic head for the close-ups and spliced it in with the CGI. It would have made it look less cheesy. Of course, they probably don't have the time or the budget for that. I agree I wish they just showed her climb on and he flies away...

I think Brienne is going to kill Stannis. Hopefully it happens in episode 10 so we don't have to wait till next year....

re: Game of Thrones S5:E9:"The Dance of Dragons", BOOK READERS - KorrBG20
I had to turn the volume down while she was screaming. That was absolutely brutal. That was the most fricked up thing I've seen on this show. If Stannis doesn't do this in Winds of Winter, then I have to seriously consider writing the show off. D & D are just killing for killing's sake. Not for ...

re: I have the disquieting feeling that the GoT TV series is starting to drift - KorrBG20
It's not the reasoning of the changes that makes it bad, it's the handling of it. I don't mind changes if they stay true to the overall tone of Game of Thrones. The show is above cliche'd Hollywood crap. That's what makes it a cut above the rest. The first three books were adapted very well,...

re: I have the disquieting feeling that the GoT TV series is starting to drift - KorrBG20
BOOK SPOILERS The show is totally exposing it's weakness in writing when it does steer off completely away from the books. Here's just a couple of examples. Last season, the scene where Yara (Asha) goes to try to save Theon was rushed and sloppily done. The scene where Jon and some g...

re: Breaking Bad Plothole - KorrBG20
Yeah but it was a dumb criticism. In my opinion, of course
Alright, I just wanted to discuss it. So, Gale could cook meth P2P style with a 96% purity with his own formula, but he couldn't figure out how to make it blue. And that was enough for Gus to hire Walt, who he doesn't w...

re: Breaking Bad Plothole - KorrBG20
1) You don't know what a plothole is 2) You're dumb 3) This thread is stupid
 Maybe plothole was a strong word. It is more of a criticism. Again, I love the show, it's one of my favorites. I just sort of question Gus's motive with hiring Walt in the first place...

re: Breaking Bad Plothole - KorrBG20
The 3% was the difference between Walt and the chemists other drug lords could hire. Gus wanted to own the best product on the market to keep his edge.
Why not just kill Walt then. He tries to kill Walt after he runs over a couple of low-level gangbangers. If he didn't want to w...

re: Breaking Bad Plothole - KorrBG20
Gale was the only character that said that 3% was a huge difference. And that matched Gale's character because he's so careful and particular. But it didn't seem to make a difference to anyone else. Jesse's solo cooks never went past 96% but even Walter admitted that Jesse's meth is just as good ...

Breaking Bad Plothole - KorrBG20
So I love Breaking Bad. It was one of the best shows on television and one of my favorites. With that said, something has always nagged me. In the scene at the beginning of Season 4, Gale says that he can cook meth with a purity of 96%. But Walter's formula can get a purity of 99%. So even ...

re: GOT vs ASIOF: Things better in the show (SPOILERS) - KorrBG20
I think I am going to enjoy Jaime's scenes more in Dorne than in the Riverlands. Sorry, but Jaime's scenes in the Riverlands are :snoozer: For the show, I wonder how they will sort out to the audience what happens to Edmere Tully and the houses of the Riverlands now that the war is over. May...

re: Keenan Lewis wants final 3 years guaranteed or be released - KorrBG20
What is his gripe? That the Saints will cut him next year because they don't wanna pay the back half of his contract because it's back loaded or whatever? He signed the contract knowing that. That's the business. What leverage does he have? He'll hold out training camp and not get paid anything ...

They definitely don't retain that knowledge because he didn't use any kung fu shite against Bane-Smith in Revelations when they fought in the ship. Neither did Trinity or Smith. They just fought like a bunch of normal humans....

re: Would you trade the next 25 Saints seasons for 1 more SB? - KorrBG20
A better question would have been 5 years. I'd take 5 years of shite football for 1 SB, but no more, and even that is hard to take. Football is just way more enjoyable when your team is actually good even if they don't win it all....
