That's why there is a SEC title game. Shouldn't have to play the same team twice to prove you're good. Good chance you could split those matchups, e.g. Tennessee and LSU in 2001...

it's called operating in the gray area. you can go on your rant about morality if you want, but it's not against the rules. it's like selling a t-shirt with tickets stapled to it for free. the alterior motive might be there, but there is no legal wrong-doing....
